Most conferences look like conferences. For a 500-person company event, I wanted people to feel like they had stepped into a story the moment they arrived.

I built a full Willy Wonka themed environment from the ground up. A printed backdrop of gold damask and candy motifs. A roll top desk, a chair, and a coat rack, each cut in half, the same visual gag pulled straight from the film. Oversized lollipops built as full sculptural pieces. A red carpet entrance that set the tone before anyone reached their seat. The golden ticket program, the signage, and the collateral all carried through the same world down to the smallest detail.

I directed the creative vision and production across six or more vendors, led a cross functional team through execution, and oversaw the full on-site install. It shipped on schedule and on budget, and it did what it was built to do. People talked about it for weeks, and it reset what the company's own team expected from a live event.
